Wanted to eat at our favorite mexican restaurant on new years day my husband got out of work a little late but the google time said they close at 9 pm we get there at8:20 had to wait for someone to come to the front to seat us got our table and was told they were closed at 8:30 people still in there was very disappointed but the times should reflect the real time they close
Once again, perfection! I had the Texas Two Step (one spinach enchilada, shredded chicken puffy taco, and a bit of guacamole) and my husband had the Enchiladas Garcia's (steak enchiladas with queso). The beans were as good as always. Noah took great care of us!
My favorite Tex Mex place in all of SATX. Great chips and salsa and best enchiladas. Guacamole is good too and the margaritas!! Can't beat the original location. Started as a hole in the wall in Helotes years ago.
I don't know what I did to deserve to get treated like this all of a sudden, but wow what a wonderful experience! What an amazing spot for a wonderful date!!! The Margaritas were so Yumm and the atmosphere just gorgeous yet comfy. The back side view from the patio was so beautiful, reminded me a bit of home !!! Our server was also so attentive and sweet! Great place!
Good food, consistent in taste. They greet you with friendliness, chips, and a small bowl of beans. I tried the taco salad in a large taco puffy shell. I chose picadillo, and I thought it was good. My friends had the cheese enchilada with a crispy taco, a choice of shredded chicken or picadillo. My salad had guacamole as well. We were celebrating a birthday and got a slice of Tres Leches cake, and we purchased sopapillas, which were fresh and tasty. No tortillas were served with the meal. Our waiter gave great service.
I was visiting my family from MN and they live in San Antonio and frequent Helotes often and recommend this place..... And it did not disappoint. The service was wonderful and the servers were wonderfully attentive. The drinks were amazing and The menu choices were endless I had a hard time choosing but I'm glad that I chose the Christina's Rellleno. It was a perfect amount of cheese and spice and full of bold flavor, (honestly it could have been spicier but I'm not mad about it It was amazing ) It was Fiesta time in San Antonio so the colors were brighter than usual there were lots of birthday parties going on lots of singing but from what I told that was not too far off from the usual atmosphere. I will definitely be back when I visit again everything about this place was amazing I highly recommend!
